Persian Kitten Purchase Protection Contract

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The buyer agrees to pay for the kitten and its shipping fee. You agree that the kitten will not be allowed outdoors without proper supervision. You agree to care for the kitten humanely and be a responsible animal guardian. This includes providing adequate food, water, shelter, attention, and medical care. You understand and agree that the current breeder gives guarantees regarding the animal’s temperament but is not responsible for any future damages or injuries caused by the animal. You give the breeder permission to call your home at any reasonable time to ensure that the animal is being properly treated and cared for. You agree to be responsible for the purchased kitten, to provide for all its needs, treat it in a humane manner, and provide everything it requires to the best of your ability.

SHOTS AND VACCINNE CLAUSE OF THE CONTRACT:

• The cat has been OFA certified on His /Her hips and elbows.
• Cat’s eyes are CERF cleared.
• The cat has been issued a written Health Warranty attesting to the above.
• Cat has been properly dewormed at ages 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks.
• The cat has received his/her distemper, measles, and parainfluenza vaccine at age 6-8 weeks, or its (Distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and parvovirus) DHPP Vaccination at eight weeks.

• The cat will be transported to a buyer from the seller by air transport in a pet crate.
• Seller is the factual and legal owner of the cat till after this agreement has been signed and Payment completed.
• There is a 30-day money-back guarantee in case the buyer is unsatisfied with the delivered kitten if the buyer complies with the terms below.

The seller guarantees that the kitten/kittens are in sound health, with AKC registration application paperwork, making the kitten/kittens eligible for registration with the buyer’s local kennel club. The seller also guarantees that the kitten/kittens have a great temperament at the time of this sale. A health record of all vaccinations and/or worming will be provided by the seller. The buyer agrees to take the cat to a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours of delivery for a physical examination. Should the veterinarian determine that the kitten/kittens have any health issues that the seller is clearly responsible for, the cat may, upon receipt of a signed written diagnosis from the veterinarian, be returned for a full refund of the purchase price. The seller agrees to finance the return of the kitten/kittens.

If at any time the buyer can no longer retain possession of this cat, the seller must be notified and given the first option to resume full ownership of the cat, allowing the seller to find a new home for the cat. The buyer has a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked, with a full refund if they do not like the cat or have difficulties bonding with their new furry friend. In such cases, the cat must be returned with all necessary papers and medical records. Should any circumstances arise that affect the quality of life of the cat, the breeder/seller must be informed so they can participate in determining the cat’s future. The breeder/seller reserves the right to approve or prohibit any transfer of this animal to a third party. Under no circumstances will this cat be sold, leased, traded, or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter, or similar facility.
